Vores artikel beskæftiger sig med de teoretiske lag af udarbejdelsen af en forskningsstrategi inden for sygepleje. Vi undersøger de grundlæggende argumenter for, hvordan, hvorfor, og hvilke redskaber der kan anvendes i denne komplekse proces med at producere forskningsstrategi med et sygeplejefagligt fokus. Ved at sætte fokus på sygeplejeteori udforsker vi, hvordan disse kan informere og styrke udviklingen af en forskningsstrategi.
Artiklen tilbyder læserne at fordybe sig i rationale, metoder og indsigter om, hvordan sygeplejepraksis kan beriges gennem en systematisk udarbejdet forskningsstrategi. Vores mål er ikke at præsentere en opskrift, men at understrege betydningen af sygeplejeteori som fundamental hjørnesten til at udvikle en bæredygtig strategi inden for sygeplejepraksis og forskning.

Research strategy: Why, how and with which theoretical tools can nursing research strategies be developed

Our article addresses the theoretical dimensions involved in developing a research strategy within nursing. We examine the underlying arguments for how, why and with which tools this complex process of producing a research strategy with a nursing focus can be carried out. By focusing on nursing theory, we explore how such theories can inform and strengthen the development of a research strategy.

The article invites readers to engage with the rationale, methods and insights concerning how nursing practice can be enriched through a systematically developed research strategy. Our aim is not to present a step‑by‑step recipe, but to underline the importance of nursing theory as a fundamental cornerstone for developing a sustainable strategy within nursing practice and research.
