Der findes ikke meget viden om, hvordan unge p\u00e5r\u00f8rende oplever deres deltagelse i de hverdagsaktiviteter, som typisk er forbundet med at v\u00e6re ung, og hvordan deres deltagelse bliver p\u00e5virket af at have en for\u00e6lder med demens. Form\u00e5let var derfor at unders\u00f8ge, hvordan unge p\u00e5r\u00f8rende til en for\u00e6lder med demens oplever deres deltagelse i hverdagsaktiviteter, og hvordan deres deltagelse bliver p\u00e5virket af at have en for\u00e6lder med demens.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Metode<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Studiet havde en kvalitativ, deskriptiv tilgang. Der blev foretaget semi-strukturerede interview med 11 unge p\u00e5r\u00f8rende til en for\u00e6lder med demens, fem m\u00e6nd og seks kvinder i alderen 21-31 \u00e5r. Interviewene blev analyseret ud fra Kirsti Malteruds iterative, tv\u00e6rg\u00e5ende analysemetode Systematisk tekstkondensering.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Resultater<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">De unge p\u00e5r\u00f8rende oplevede dilemmaer og begr\u00e6nsninger i forhold til deltagelse i hverdagsaktiviteter, der normalt forbindes med ungdomslivet. De m\u00e5tte navigere i situationer, hvor de skulle v\u00e6lge mellem at tage sig af for\u00e6lderen med demens og deres egne hverdagsaktiviteter. De endte ofte med at nedprioritere eller aflyse deltagelse i fritidsaktiviteter, skolearbejde, job og karriere. Deres deltagelse blev yderligere p\u00e5virket af pligter og ansvar for for\u00e6lderen, hvilket resulterede i et manglende overskud. Dette f\u00f8rte til, at flere af de unge nedprioriterede is\u00e6r sociale aktiviteter eller \u00e6ndrede deres valg af aktiviteter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Konklusion<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Sundhedsprofessionelle, der arbejder p\u00e5 demensfeltet, opfordres til at v\u00e6re opm\u00e6rksomme p\u00e5 denne s\u00e6rlige m\u00e5lgruppe, og hj\u00e6lpe dem med at skabe balance mellem de aktiviteter, de \u00f8nsker at g\u00f8re for eller med for\u00e6lderen og de aktiviteter, der h\u00f8rer ungdomslivet til. M\u00e5let er at muligg\u00f8re et ungdomsliv, samtidig med at de kan v\u00e6re en del af familien og bidrage med det ansvar og de opgaver, som de kan h\u00e5ndtere.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span
