\n<\/span><\/strong>Psoriasis (PSO) er en kronisk inflammatorisk hudsygdom, der p\u00e5virker b\u00e5de den fysiske, psykiske og sociale trivsel. I klinisk praksis varierer patienters evne til at h\u00e5ndtere sygdommens konsekvenser betydeligt, hvilket udfordrer sygeplejerskers mulighed for systematisk at identificere st\u00f8ttebehov. P\u00e5 trods af eksisterende forskning i mestring og livskvalitet er der ikke kvantitativ viden om sammenh\u00e6ngen mellem mestringsevne, sygdomsspecifik livskvalitet og behovet for sygeplejerskesamtaler hos voksne patienter med PSO. Dette studie adresserer dette videnshul.<\/span><\/p>\n

Metode
\n<\/span><\/strong>Studiet er et kvantitativt tv\u00e6rsnitsstudie baseret p\u00e5 et digitalt sp\u00f8rgeskema. Mestringsevne blev m\u00e5lt ved OAS\u201113, sygdomsspecifik livskvalitet ved DLQI og behov for sygeplejerskesamtaler blev m\u00e5lt via selvkonstruerede sp\u00f8rgsm\u00e5l. M\u00e5lpopulationen i dette projekt er voksne patienter (\u226518 \u00e5r) i ambulatorisk behandling for PSO i Danmark.<\/span><\/p>\n

Resultater
\n<\/span><\/strong>Studiet identificerer statistisk signifikante, men svage negative korrelationer mellem mestringsevne og sygdomsspecifik livskvalitet (r<\/span>s<\/span> = \u20130,264; p = 0,003) samt mellem mestringsevne og behov for sygeplejerskesamtaler (r<\/span>s<\/span> = \u20130,248; p = 0,006). Resultaterne indikerer, at h\u00f8jere mestringsevne er forbundet med bedre livskvalitet og et lavere oplevet behov for sygeplejerskesamtaler.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abstract
\n<\/span>Introduction
\n<\/span><\/strong>Psoriasis (PSO) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that affects physical, psychological, and social well-being. In clinical practice, patients vary considerably in their ability to manage the consequences of the disease, which challenges nurses\u2019 ability to systematically identify support needs. Despite existing research on coping and quality of life (QoL), no quantitative evidence exists on the associations among coping ability, disease-specific QoL, and the need for nurse consultations (NC) in adults with PSO.<\/span><\/p>\n

Methods
\n<\/span><\/strong>The study is a quantitative cross-sectional design based on a digital questionnaire. Coping ability was measured using the SOC-13, disease-specific QoL using the DLQI, and the need for NC was assessed using self-constructed questions. The target population was adults (\u226518 years) receiving outpatient treatment for PSO in Denmark.<\/span><\/p>\n

Results
\n<\/span><\/strong>The study identified statistically significant but weak negative correlations between coping ability and disease-specific QoL (r<\/span>s<\/span> = \u20130.264; p = 0.003), as well as between coping ability and the need for NC (r<\/span>s <\/span>= \u20130.248; p = 0.006). The results indicate that higher coping ability is associated with better QoL and a lower perceived need for NC.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
