Oplevelsen af neonatal indl\u00e6ggelse hos for\u00e6ldre til pr\u00e6mature sp\u00e6db\u00f8rn er central i et klinisk, curologisk, patientologisk og p\u00e5r\u00f8rendeperspektiv, da den har betydning for b\u00e5de barnets forl\u00f8b og familiens samlede trivsel.<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Form\u00e5l<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Form\u00e5let med projektet er at belyse for\u00e6ldrenes oplevelser for at kvalificere og m\u00e5lrette sygeplejen til denne gruppe. Projektet sigter mod at identificere, hvordan sygeplejen bedst kan underst\u00f8tte for\u00e6ldrene i denne overgangssituation.<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Metode<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Projektet bygger p\u00e5 et systematisk litteraturstudie af fem artikler, som er analyseret ved hj\u00e6lp af Dahlager og Fredslunds hermeneutiske analysemetode. S\u00e6rligt de negative tanker fremst\u00e5r som karakteristiske for oplevelsen af at f\u00e5 et pr\u00e6maturt barn og peger p\u00e5 behovet for systematisk psykosocial st\u00f8tte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Diskussion<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Personcentreret sygepleje, der v\u00e6gter information, inddragelse og emotionel st\u00f8tte, fremst\u00e5r som central for at reducere for\u00e6ldres oplevelse af afmagt og usikkerhed. Etablering af en tillidsfuld relation mellem sygeplejerske og for\u00e6ldre har potentiale til at dulme negative f\u00f8lelser og styrke oplevelsen af tryghed og medinddragelse. Sygeplejerskens kommunikative og relationelle kompetencer bliver dermed afg\u00f8rende for kvaliteten af for\u00e6ldrenes samlede forl\u00f8b.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Implikationer for praksis<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Fundene kan integreres i klinisk praksis gennem kvalitetsudvikling, fx ved brug af forbedringsmodellen til systematisk at udvikle og afpr\u00f8ve tiltag, der styrker for\u00e6ldreinddragelse og relationel kontinuitet. VIA University College, School of Nursing, Viborg, Denmark. <\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Supervisor: Helen Gr\u00e4s H\u00f8jgaard<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Abstract<br \/>\n<\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Background<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Parents of preterm infants find themselves in a vulnerable and complex situation during neonatal hospitalisation, where emotional, relational, and existential aspects are at stake. The experience of neonatal hospitalisation among parents of preterm infants is central from clinical, curative, patientological, and relative perspectives, as it affects both the infant\u2019s clinical course and the overall well-being of the family.<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Aim<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">The aim of this project is to illuminate parents\u2019 experiences to inform and target nursing care for this group. The project seeks to identify how nursing can best support parents in this transitional situation.<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Method<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">The project is based on a systematic literature review of five articles, which were analysed using Dahlager and Fredslund\u2019s hermeneutic method of analysis. This method enables an interpretative approach to parents\u2019 experiences and focuses on meaning and understanding rather than causal explanation.<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Results<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">The analysis identified the following themes: <em>suddenly on unfamiliar ground; the joy of becoming a parent; negative thoughts; and the<\/em><\/span><em><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">&nbsp;nurse\u2019s most important role is to create trust.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/em><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">The findings can be summarised in two main messages: divergent emotional reactions and the significance of nursing in parents\u2019 overall experience. Negative thoughts in particular appear characteristic of the experience of becoming a parent to a preterm infant and point to the need for systematic psychosocial support.<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Discussion<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Person-centred nursing, which emphasises information, involvement, and emotional support, appears central to reducing parents\u2019 experiences of powerlessness and uncertainty. Establishing a trusting relationship between nurse and parents has the potential to alleviate negative emotions and strengthen the experience of safety and involvement. The nurse\u2019s communicative and relational competences thus become crucial for the quality of the parents\u2019 overall trajectory.<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Implications for practice<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">The findings may be integrated into clinical practice through quality improvement initiatives, for example, by using the Model for Improvement to systematically develop and test interventions that strengthen parental involvement and relational continuity.
