Der blev gennemf\u00f8rt ni kvalitative, semistrukturerede interviews med i alt 17 informanter, herunder ni patienter og otte p\u00e5r\u00f8rende. Interviewene blev lydoptaget og transskriberet ordret, og tematisk analyse blev udf\u00f8rt i tre faser inspireret af Paul Ricoeurs fortolkningsteori: 1) naiv l\u00e6sning, 2) strukturanalyse og 3) kritisk fortolkning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Resultater<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">P\u00e5 baggrund af analysen blev f\u00f8lgende tre temaer identificeret:<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">1. <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">En smertehistorie bag sprogbarrieren<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">2.<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> Sproglig smerte \u2013 f\u00f8lelsen af at v\u00e6re fanget i sit modersm\u00e5l<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">3.<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> Barrierer og veje til sproglig tryghed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Resultaterne viser, hvordan smertefulde fort\u00e6llinger ikke blot blev bragt med ind p\u00e5 hospitalet, men ogs\u00e5 fortsatte der. Oplevelsen af at v\u00e6re alvorligt syg og ikke kunne kommunikere direkte med l\u00e6ger og sygeplejersker blev b\u00e5de direkte sammenlignet med en manglende pille i behandlingen og beskrevet som ren tortur. Desuden kan smertefulde oplevelser overf\u00f8res til p\u00e5r\u00f8rende, n\u00e5r de bruges som tolke. Selvom smertefulde f\u00f8lelser virker uundg\u00e5elige for patienten, viser resultaterne ogs\u00e5, hvordan kontinuitet i omsorgen \u2013 gennem empatiske sundhedsprofessionelle og professionelle tolke \u2013 kan \u00f8ge b\u00e5de patienters og p\u00e5r\u00f8rendes velbefindende.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Diskussion og konklusion<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-on font-feature-clig-on font-feature-calt-on text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Sprogbarrierer \u00f8ger ikke alene patienters risiko for misforst\u00e5elser og medicinske fejl, men forst\u00e6rker ogs\u00e5 oplevelsen af smerte under kr\u00e6ftbehandlingen.
